The Science Group continues to meet on the 3rd Monday of the month. You don't need to have any qualification, just a general interest in science and technology. The members determine the topics for discussion and research individually before the meetings.

Visit to Kew Gardens
A small group of us went to Kew Gardens on Monday 21st October, we were grateful that it did not rain and was not really cold either.
We walked around the Temperate House reading and learning about the rare, endangered and extinct species of plants.
Then we joined a guided tour of rare and extinct plants where the guide took us through the Palm House and Princess of Wales Conservatory with fascinating info.
We even spotted a fox at lunchtime who seemed unperturbed by the numerous visitors around it!
