Who are we?
Hounslow u3a is part of the UK-wide u3a movement of locally run self-interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to live and experience activities, learn new things and laugh and have fun whilst doing so. Although u3a is for retired and semi-retired people there is no lower or upper age limit.

We come under the umbrella of The Third Age Trust, a national self-help organisation for people no longer in full time
employment.
Although each local u3a operates in its own way, all branches use the knowledge, skills and experience of their own members to set up and run special interest groups. We currently have groups covering a wide range of interests, as well as opportunities for social activities, such as lunches and theatre trips. See what’s on offer at Groups.
All our members are invited to attend our general meetings which are held once a month throughout the year, except for August.
These meetings usually start with a talk from a visiting speaker; our Speakers Organisers ensure that there is a diverse, informative, entertaining and stimulating range of topics throughout the year. After the talk refreshments are provided and members have a chance to socialise.
Our programme for the next few months can be seen on the Events page.
